In a world bound by rules
Forced to trudge down a paved path
My mind still wanders free.

For time and tide shall wait for no man

Walking. Despair stalking. Demons talking
Not a soul in sight.
New Year
Years have flown by
but the dream remains the same
Create magic everyday
Keep nurturing the flame.
The Lies
Weaving chains of lies
Like vines growing on trees
I keep growing older
But the habit doesn't cease.
Duality
Am I waking up from a dream?
Or am I falling into one
Reality has coagulated with illusion.
Under Artificial Lights
Everyday like clockwork
We come to be
Under artificial lights
To work like bees.
The City of Doom
Everyday flows by like the transient wind
Like mice, we are chasing happiness
Scurrying helplessly in this rat race.
The Student
First steps into the outside world
A fledgling just out of its nest
He is ... just another student.
Time and Tide
Old and new, new and old
Corpses were once statues of gold
None can see, what's been consumed
In the eerie depths of time.
Train and Man
The train rumbles, the train rocks
Seeing hopes and aspirations run amok
Wings of dreams soar where logic creeps.
My Dope
For now I found pleasure in my sorrow
In darkness I found hope
I found Nirvana in my dope.
Belief
Like a sword in a losing battle
Relentlessly inspiring to give all you've got
For nothing can be accomplished without belief.
Religion
When the power of love overcomes
The love for power
Only peace and truth
Will stand like a tower.
A Beautiful Mind
Take a moment to introspect
How queer is the human mind
Ruthless like the raging seas at times
Or innocent like a cherubic child.
The Beaten Path
Fortune favors the brave — on what lies just beyond the path everyone takes.
A Warrior's Tale
And joy rushed through his pierced heart
Where sorrow and regret should've been
At last, he was free, truly.

He loved her much, but had to let go
He bore her mark as she waved goodbye

Can't you all see
The truth is infinite
The only one stopping you

Smokes and booze were far away
Everything was warm and cosy
