Journey
Train and Man
· 2 min read

The train rumbles, the train rocks
The train rattles, like rickety clocks
Past crowded platforms, where villages flock
To head to cities, become urban stock
Their success or failure, the train cares not
It sees everything, but doesn't mock
Seeing hopes and aspirations run amok
Always on schedule, unlike an artist's block
Seeing dainty humans, it must envy
Their freedom to make choices, their creativity
No tracks to stick to, no promises to keep
The drive to keep going, when all looks bleak
Don't always find, what they set out to seek
But new goals keep popping, in bounds and leaps
Wings of dreams soar where logic creeps
Mistakes are the soil through which their knowledge can reap
